SUMMARY It seems that the word is spreading... We had 12 riders for tonight's running of our little time trial! Returning riders included Susan, Deanna, Giana, Joe, Jady, Richard Battles and Leonard, and filling out the field were Maddie Stewart, Paul McKenzie, Kevin Buchholz, Ben Lev and Matt Ehlers. Also on-scene were moto-photo Richard Stone, and a few others whose names I regrettably either forgot or never learned. I believe we had only one record set tonight: the 50+ men's course record by Paul McKenzie with a time of 27:34, averaging 23.72 MPH. That'll be tough to beat. Also of note, Richard Battles got a new PR, shattering his goal of 20 MPH with 20.7 MPH. Deanna and Susan also notched up their PR's, with average speeds of 20.48 and 20.29, respectively. In fact, EVERY rider tonight averaged at least 20 MPH, and with no wind assistance to speak of. Pretty good! Super-volunteer Kimberly Hoffman helped out by taking names as we released riders onto the course and recording times as they came in. Thanks Kimberly! It seems that we may need to start considering the "too big for our britches" scenario, which isn't a bad thing. Don't be surprised, though, if you see a few rules appearing on the site.
